Overview & Visitor Experience
The Labuan War Memorial is the largest Commonwealth war cemetery in Malaysia. Maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, it is the resting place of 3,908 soldiers, sailors, and airmen from Australia, Britain, India, New Zealand, and Malaya who fell during the defence of Malaya, the fall of Singapore, and the Borneo campaigns. An annual Remembrance Day ceremony is held every November.
