Perched 300 metres high in the Nakawan Range near the Thai border, Wang Kelian View Point is Perlis's most photographed panoramic sunrise spot. Early morning visitors are greeted by a breathtaking 'sea of clouds' (awan karpet) blanketed across the valley beneath jagged limestone karst peaks. The nearby Perlis State Park protects ancient semi-deciduous white meranti forests.
