Overview & Visitor Experience
Taman Negara is one of the world's oldest deciduous rainforests, predating the Amazon and the Congo basins. Covering 4,343 square kilometres, it is a haven for biodiversity. Visitors trek across the 530-metre suspended Canopy Walkway 40 metres above the jungle floor, take wooden longboat river excursions to Lata Berkoh waterfalls, explore Gua Telinga bat caves, and encounter indigenous Orang Asli villages.
How to Get There
Drive to Kuala Tembeling Jetty near Jerantut, then enjoy a memorable 2.5-hour scenic riverboat ride upstream to Kuala Tahan.
